CLASSES ARE 1.5 HOURS

The beginner pistol course curriculum aims to provide the fundamental knowledge and skills to safely handle and shoot a pistol.

1. Introduction to Firearms Safety:

- Basic rules of firearm safety

- Proper handling and manipulation of a pistol

- Safe storage and transport of firearms

2. Pistol Parts and Operation:

- Familiarization with the different parts of a pistol

- Understanding the function and operation of the pistol's action

- Loading and unloading procedures

- Clearing malfunctions

3. Shooting Fundamentals:

- Proper grip, stance, and body position

- Sight alignment and sight picture

- Trigger control and follow-through

- Breathing and natural point of aim

4. Live Fire Exercises:

- Range safety rules and procedures

- Live fire practice under close supervision

- Controlled shooting drills to reinforce shooting fundamentals
